This Blog is just a place for me to vent about living with my mom.  I figured people could relate.

Let me begin with I love my mom.  Lots.  Lots and lots.  Never doubt that.

I am in my (late) 40s and moved back home after leaving a 22yr long marriage.  Being an only child makes my life here more interesting because there is no one else that she can vent to, except my kids or her sister. I try to run block for my kids but sometimes she nails them pretty good.

Mom will do anything for anyone.  She's a great woman; always has been but I guess when you're pushing 80 one of the first things to go is not really your sight or bladder but your filter.  I hope you get a chuckle out of my experiences.  Laughing is all I have left to do.  I don't have enough money for a good lawyer or know anyone that would help me out of jail if I took all of this to heart!

You Looka Like A Man

I come home last night after being out of the house for 13 hours and I'm thrilled that I got my hair treated (Keratin blowout and cut short) to hear:  "Did you get your hair straightened? (insert look of disgust as you say it)"  Excitedly I say with a smile "Yes mom, do you like it?"   "Well, I guess you did!  You look like a man!"

God I love this woman!
